What should I expect? So you booked your portrait session! Now what? Don't worry. I am here to guide you through the entire process from start to finish. Prior to your session we will have a phone or email consultation to workout the details and to ensure all of your questions have been answered.
What's the best time of day to take photos? Photographers call it the magic hour. The 1-2 hours before the sun sets is the best time to shoot. You get the most amazing warm, glowing light during this time. This time may vary at different parts of the year.
How long will the session last? Session times vary, but an average session lasts anywhere between one and two hours.
What happens if I need to reschedule? We can reschedule up to one time in the case of an emergency/non weather related reasons. Rescheduling will be for the next available date. Please keep in mind that availability is limited so the next available date may not be for a few weeks or longer.
Why is my deposit non-refundable? Once a date is reserved it can no longer be used for another client, therefore deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are transferable for up to 90 days.
What forms of payment do you accept? Currently, I accept cash & major credit cards. Checks may be accepted from established clients and corporate clients.
What happens if it rains or the weather doesn't cooperate? Weather plays an important role in natural light/outdoor photography. Unfortunately, I have little control over the weather, if we happen to get rained out we will reschedule for the next available date. If I forsee inclement weather I will email you as soon as possible to reschedule.
Where will we take our photos? I am a natural light photographer which means I use the great outdoors as my studio. I have my favorite spots around the Baton Rouge area. I am always up for trying new locations.
Do you have a studio? I do have a studio located in Denham Springs. Studio sessions are reserved for newborns and small children only. Adults and families will be photographed on location.
How do I use my print credit? If you purchased a package that includes print credits, add images to your cart but do not check out. Email your mailing address to me and I will have your order shipped to you.
No gallery wraps, announcements or flat cards can be ordered using print credits. These must be purchased separately. Sizes 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, 11x14 may be ordered using print credits. Should you go over the allotted print credit amount I will send you an invoice for the difference.
